How do I know if I need a repair or a full roof replacement?
Curling or missing shingles, ceiling stains and leaks in more than one spot are signs to have the roof looked at soon. A single damaged area on a newer roof can often be repaired. Do you handle storm damage and insurance claims?
Yes. We inspect roofs and siding after strong storms and make sure you have an accurate quote for your insurance claim. We also work with your insurance company through the process. Many of our reviews come from homeowners we helped after tornado, wind and storm damage. See storm damage response.
What roofing materials do you install?
We install GAF roofing systems, including Class-3 and Class-4 systems. Class 4 is the highest impact rating for shingles, which matters with Ohio hail and wind. We also install solar panels and solar roofing shingles. See roof replacement and solar roofing.
How long does a typical asphalt shingle roof last here?
Many asphalt shingle roofs last roughly 20 to 30 years. The actual lifespan depends on the shingle, the installation, attic ventilation and how many hard storms the roof takes. Miami Valley wind and hail can shorten that, so it's worth checking an older roof after a big storm.
Do you install siding and gutters too?
Yes. We install insulated vinyl siding with a range of accent types. We also install complete replacement gutter systems, which protect your foundation and help your roof last.

We work only in the Miami Valley. That includes Medway, Springfield and Dayton. Our shop is at 50 Walnut Rd in Medway.

When is the best time to schedule a roof inspection?
Spring and fall work well in the Dayton and Springfield area. A spring inspection catches winter damage, and a fall inspection catches summer storm damage before cold weather sets in. After any major storm, it's worth a look regardless of the season.

Will the price change after the job starts?
No. The price on your quote is the price you pay, and we don't do change orders. We've completed over 1,500 projects in the past five years, and our quotes hold up.
What warranties come with a new roof?
We offer warranties on both materials and installation, and we stand 100% behind our workmanship. As a GAF Master Elite contractor, we have access to GAF's best warranty. We'll go over the specific coverage for your roof when we quote it.
Will I know what's happening during my project?
Yes. We photograph every step of the project. We keep you informed from the first visit through cleanup. Our installers follow GAF's manufacturing guidelines on every roof.
